We are Gavin, Skylar, and Millay Jennings, founders of SVRN Strength.
Both raised in Taney County, Gavin in Protem and Skylar in Hollister, it is not lost on us what it means to be back home, building something meaningful in the place that helped shape us. This is not just where we are from. It is where we have been called to plant roots, raise our family, and serve our community.
For over 15 years, fitness and nutrition have been a constant in our lives, but it was not until living in Cookeville, Tennessee, training at CrossFit Mayhem, that we experienced not just a workout, but community, accountability, and a shared pursuit of growth that extended far beyond the gym floor.
It was there that the vision began to take shape.
Not just a gym, but a place where people are sharpened, where discipline is built, and where community actually means something.
But more than anything, SVRN Strength exists because we believe this:
God is sovereign, but we are called to steward what He has given us.
We do not control the outcome. We do not force the doors open. But when He opens them, we walk through in faith and obedience.
Or simply put:
God steers the boat. But we still have to row.
SVRN is built on that tension, trust and responsibility. Faith and action. Surrender and discipline.
We want this to be more than a place you work out.
We want it to be your third space: Home. Work. SVRN. Or for the early crew, SVRN. Work. Home.
A place where you are known, you are challenged, and you grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Our prayer is that you do not just find a gym here, but a community, a family, a group of people you can truly do life with.
When we are not in the gym, you will find us spending time together as a family, outdoors, cooking, or attending Woodland Hills Family Church. Skylar also serves as a real estate agent with Murney, which means life often looks like juggling showings, workouts, and family time, and we would not have it any other way.
This opportunity is not something we take lightly. It is a gift. A responsibility. A calling.
And it would be an honor to have you be part of it.
Founding Partners
Lain & Aspyn McCanless
Lain and Aspyn are honored to help build SVRN from the ground floor, supporting the vision through brand, strategy, community, and a deep belief in what Gavin and Skylar are building.

We are honored to be a part of what is being built here.
We are a family first. Married, two crazy boys, Shepherd Thomas and Banner Banks, and doing our best to lead our home with intention, keep our sense of humor, and never take ourselves too seriously.
If you have spent any time around Gavin and Skylar, you already know their heart. The way they approach health and wellness, not just physical, but holistic, for every season and stage of life, is rare. And when that vision collided with our passion for community and helping people become who God is calling them to be, this felt less like a business decision and more like an obvious next step.
We believe SVRN Strength is more than a gym. It is a place where people can show up, do hard things, and leave a little more like the person they were created to be.
We will personally be training here. Our boys will grow up in these walls. And we mean that. This is not something we are attached to from a distance. We are in it.
Outside of SVRN, Lain serves as a teaching pastor at Woodland Hills Family Church, co-founded Rally Your Family, a family branding agency helping families build legacies with the same intentionality great businesses apply to their brand, and is a speaker and author with a passion for marriage and fatherhood.
We are here because we believe in this mission and in these people.
We hope you will join us.
We Control the Inputs.
God Controls the Outcomes.
Questions
What to know before you walk in.
A quick look at what SVRN is, how membership works, and what you can expect when you show up.
SVRN is more than a gym. It is a community.
Yes, you will get more fit here. That’s a given. You’ll get stronger, healthier, and more capable. But we believe that is the byproduct of something deeper.
What truly sets SVRN apart is the people. This is a place where you will be known, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. A place where you are not just another membership, but part of a community that shows up for each other, inside and outside the gym.
We believe God is sovereign, and we are called to steward our lives well. That means training with purpose, living with discipline, and building something that actually matters.
At SVRN, we are not just working out. We are doing life together.
When you join as a Founding Member, you reserve your spot with your first month’s membership upfront.
When we open, that payment simply applies to your first month of membership.
Beyond that, we believe this should be the best hour of your day. If it is not, you are free to cancel at any time. No pressure, no long-term commitment, just an opportunity to be part of something from the beginning.
Initially, we offer coach-led group functional fitness classes designed to meet you where you are and challenge you to grow.
We also provide one-on-one and small group personal training for those who want more individualized attention.
As we grow, we plan to expand class offerings and introduce nutrition coaching to further support your progress inside and outside the gym.
Not at all. Every workout at SVRN is fully coached and scalable to your current fitness level, whether you are just getting started or have years of experience.
Our job is to meet you where you are and help you improve over time. You do not need to “get in shape” before coming. You come here to do that.
SVRN is equipped with everything you would expect from a high-quality functional fitness gym, including a commercial rig with wall ball stations, Rogue barbells, plates, dumbbells, bikes, Concept2 rowers, SkiErgs, climbing ropes, sandbags, boxes, and more.
The goal is simple. We want to support every level of training, from your first class to your strongest season yet.
Millay loves friends.
We plan to offer childcare during select classes, likely starting with the 9:00am class. Final decisions will be guided by our Founding Members and the needs of the community.
Regardless of whether formal childcare is available at a given time, SVRN is a family-friendly environment. Kids are welcome, and we will have a dedicated space for them with games, coloring, and a TV.
At times, this space may not include supervised childcare, so parents are responsible for their children.
We have a heart for moms who want to train or simply need an hour to recharge, and we will prioritize creating space for that.
Each class at SVRN is coach-led, structured, and designed with purpose.
We start with a guided warm-up to prepare your body, followed by movement instruction and skill or strength work. From there, we move into the workout of the day, where everything can be scaled to your level.
Throughout the entire hour, a coach is there to teach, correct, encourage, and push you appropriately. You are never left guessing what to do.
You will walk in with a plan, be led every step of the way, and leave better than you came.
Yes. Absolutely.
Our goal is to build more than a gym. We want SVRN to be a place where people truly do life together. That includes opportunities like men’s and women’s Bible studies, run clubs, book clubs, and other gatherings outside of class.
As we grow, many of these will be shaped by the community itself. That could look like watch parties, members’ children’s birthday celebrations, BBQs, and coming together to support one another through life’s biggest moments, both celebrations and hardships.
At the end of the day, we are not just building stronger individuals. We are building a stronger community.
Once we are open, we will offer a $15 drop-in rate for non-members, along with a 10-class pass for $120.
Your first class will always be free, so you can come experience SVRN before making a decision.
